The idea of this exhibition was born from the forty-year anniversary of the traveling show "Viaggio nella Memoria" which took place in 1980 under the direction of Dacia Maraini and the participation of a group of women from the local feminist collective, who had contributed to the '' opening of the family clinic, under the patronage of the Councilor for Culture Alfio Insolera. For them a new experience of a theatrical laboratory, capable of translating memories, links with past history, daily experiences and everyday problems, resulting from the interviews of their grandmothers and mothers, into a show. The re-presentation of that event in a photographic exhibition also intends to make known to the new and old generation a slice of life and history of the city of which, unfortunately, traces are being lost, due to the disappearance of the witnesses of the time.
