Acclaimed Israeli actress Hadas Yaron to be awarded at ITFF in Venice.
The International Tour Film Fest celebrates its first ten years in Venice at the 78th International Film Festival, an unmissable destination for all cinephiles and always a symbol of style and glamour, but also a stage that rewrites the costume and conveys social messages with a strong impact. The acclaimed Israeli actress Hadas Yaron will receive the special ITFF Venice Award.
The event organized by Civitafilm will take place at the Lido of Venice on 6 September in the splendid Biennale Terrace where the prestigious ITFF Venice Award will be given to the Israeli actress Hadas Yaron, lead actress in the film "I nostri fantasmi" produced by Fenix Entertainment. Following the presentation of the book "Sognando Nuovi Orizzonti" written by Marina Marucci and Vittoria Milano, which reveals the secrets and background of the first 10 years of the festival.
The event will end with an exclusive cocktail / aperitif with sea view curated by renowned chef Tino Vettorello. The Venetian stage will precede the grand finale of the International Tour Film Fest which will take place in Civitavecchia from 29 September to 3 October with a full calendar of events (screenings, award ceremonies, meetings, competitions for young talents) and a parterre of super guests who will be presented at an upcoming press conference in Rome.
Hadas Yaron was born on 1990 in Israel.
She began acting as a child and made her film debut as a supporting actress in the 2006 film, Out of Sight. As an adolescent, she attended Tichon Eroni Alef Art School where she studied theatre. Yaron played lead character Shira Mendelman in the 2012 Israeli drama film, Fill the Void. The film was received well, and critics praised Yaron's performance. In September, she won Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival and the Ophir Awards, Israel's version of the Oscars. In 2018, Yaron appeared as Sarah in the film Mary Magdalene, written by Helen Edmundson and directed by Garth Davis starring international cast Rooney Mara, and Academy Awards Joaquin Phoenix and Chiwetel Ejiofor. In 2020 she is in the cast of Alessandro Lunardelli's La Regola d'Oro. His latest work, I nostri fantasmi directed by Alessandro Capitani and starring Michele Riondino and Alessandro Haber, will be premiered at the 78th Venice International Film Festival.
