International Tour Film Fest 2021
Short, medium length and feature film competition
Rules valid for entry to the 10th edition of the festival organized by Civita Film Commission.
The International Tour Film Fest 2021 is the evolution of Tolfa Short Film Fest; the International competition, this year, is open to shorts and medium-length films; The festival is sponsored and organized by the Cultural CivitaFilm, with organizational headquarters in Via Togliatti No. 12 -00053- Civitavecchia (Rome, ITALY), in collaboration with: City of Civitavecchia, Regione Lazio and Enel
The 10thedition of the Festival will take place from June to October 2021 in several cities of the Region of Lazio and overseas.
The film screening competition will take place in Civitavecchia (Rome) from September 29 to October 3, 2021 .
The competition will be accompanied by events and cultural programming.

Own work can be submitted to one of the following competition categories:
FEATURE FILM: They are admitted feature films. The film must be produced from 2019 onwards and with maximum running time of 100 minutes.
SHORT AND MEDIUM LENGTH FILM: They can take part in the competition shorts and medium-length film produced in 2019 onwards with a maximum running time of 50 minutes including credits, belonging to the following categories:
A) FICTION
B) ANIMATION
C) DOCUMENTARY
D) TOURISM PROMOTIONAL MOVIES – reserved to any film promoting tourism in the following aspects: tourism destination for city, region, or country; sports and adventure tourism; nautical tourism; enotourism; religious tourism; cultural events, people, tradition and fair promotion.
The work must be uploaded on one of the following platforms

Submission Fee for both competitive categories:
Early Deadline (28 February 2021) : 5 € (6$) for EACH Short Film and/or Feature Film
Final Deadline (30 April 2021): 15 € (18$) for EACH Short Film and/or Feature Film
Payment must be done through payment methods reported on the platforms once the work is uploaded or bank transfer.

Reference : Submission ITFF 2021 (in the case of registration of more works , please report the number of works entered, for short films maximum limit of 2 works per same director)
The work must be uploaded in MP4 format (video resolution 1920x1080 Codec: H264, FPS: 25, max size: 2 GB), along with the completed enrollment form, no later than April 30, 2021 with no exceptions.
The works must be sent, mandatory subtitled in English, together with a movie poster and/or stills, the list of festivals and awards, and the author's biography. Subtitles must be sent as separated file in .SRT file format. Also a receipt of the payment must be included in order to validate the submission.
If the work will be selected, a copy for the public screening as MP4 file format is requested. Also, Italian language subtitles in SRT file format or encoded in video are requested. The participant is the solely responsible for the sending of the subtitles. Further details may be sent via mail by the technical director of the festival.
If the work will be selected in Film Feature category or Out of competition, it will be requested a copy for public screening as MP4 file format + DVD/Blu Ray copy. The DVD/Blu Ray copy will be returned on demand of the author.
All the works received without the required specifications will not be accepted unless a prior agreement with the Artistic Director.

NOTICE FOR SHORT AND MEDIUM LENGTH FILM COMPETITION
Any director may participate with more works (but only one work per category). Each production company or distribution company can participate with more works (subject to the constraint referred to in the preceding paragraph).
NOTICE FOR FEATURE FILM COMPETITION
Each production company or distribution company can participate with more feature film.
Works already submitted at previous call for entries of festival will not be admitted.
The works will be selected as discretion of the Artistic Director of the festival in collaboration with international film schools.
The full list shortlist films will be published on festival website and announced through email and social network channels
The Jury is composed of leading operators in the cinematographic sector and television, communication and entertainment will award the following prizes:
- Best Fiction
- Best Animation
- Best Documentary
- Best Tourism Promotional Movie
- Best Feature film
- Critics' Award
The Jury reserves the right not to award one or more prizes.
Room and board for the winners are covered by the organization solely for the awards ceremony evening.
The Entry to the festival gives the right to promote the work entered in local television broadcasters, non-profit, in other contests and festival partners. The work is recorded on receipt of a confirmation email from the organization.
The organization is entitled to make partial projections, for print or for the promotion of the festival. The dates and times of screenings are the sole responsibility of the organization of the festival, which will publish a catalog of the selected works and a screening schedule.
The works received will be kept in the archive of the Cultural CivitaFilm Commission and may be used for future projections, no-profit film club or activity within cultural and educational purposes.
Registration entitles the festival to promote the works in his "On Tour" the following year.
The organization, while committed to the care and custody of the works, assumes no responsibility for any theft or damage that may occur to.
By entering the contest, each author is responsible for the content of his work and authorizes the organization of the festival to the processing of his data in accordance with law.
The writer / producer / distributor, joining the competition, claims to be in possession of all the rights of his work and responsible for the content of the work itself.
Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these rules in all its paragraphs and With the filling, even partial, of this form and subsequent sending, I have read all the rules of the competition and I have accepted all its parts.
For any dispute, the jurisdiction is mandatorily to Civitavecchia (Rome).
The Management reserves the right to decide in derogation from this Regulation in specific or not provided cases.
