CLOSING EVENING OF ITFF 2018

 

The festival was organized by Civitafilmcommission and Santa Marinella Viva under high patronage of: Mibac, Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lazio Region, Apidge, Confcommercio Roma, Embassy of Sweden, Municipalities of Civitavecchia and Santa Marinella, Ca.Ri.Civ Foundation, NEOS - Journalists of Viaggio Associati. Enel was the main sponsor of the event.


Many prestigious guests attended the festival including:

The Ambassador of Sweden Robert Rydberg, film directors Christian Marazziti, Dario Albertini, Daniele Falleri,Donatella Baglivo, Rosario Tronnolone; the actors Maurizio Mattioli, Flavio Bucci, Ira Fronten, Ester Vinci, Francesca Antonelli, Giulia Elettra Gorietti, Marilù De Nicola, Laura Adriani, Andrea De Rosa, Pietro Delle Piane, Massimiliano Varrese, Andrea Lattanzi (winner of the Silver Ribbon in Taormina Film Festival) the journalists Romano Milani (SNGCI), Dundar Kesapli (for the foreign press), Angelina Rossi (ICN Radio Sidney), Oriana Maerini, Loredana Filoni, Vincenzo Sori, the PR Willy Vecchiattini and the pop songwriter Walter Sciortino.

International collaborations for this edition are made with: Escola Superior Artistica do Porto (Portugal); Lodz Film School (Poland) and Slovak Film Institute (Slovakia) and national collaborations with: Movement for the life of Civitavecchia, Ass. Vespa Club Civitavecchia, Stendhal Institute, G. Galilei High School, Guglielmotti Artistic Lyceum.

The closing evening was hosted by Elisa Tassi. On absolute international standing the photographic exhibition dedicated to the director Ingmar Bergman and realized in collaboration with the Swedish Institute. Also present are works out of competition in national preview such as Epolé, a flamenco documentary directed by young Spanish directors Fernando Ferres Lòpez, Alba Manzanas Sànchez, Zoraida Palacios Rico and The Job - The N.O.A.T. Division, a Chilean action feature film directed by J. Nicolas Molinari. Numerous works in competition were premiered as national as European preview including the documentaries Mademoiselle Jennie by Irina Kopieva, Hunting by Ilgiz Sherniyaz, the animated short film Prychynna - The Story Of Love by Andrii Shcherbak. Also, themed books were launched at the festival, with the writers Margherita Lamesta Krebel and Pino Imperatore; fashion shows were held by Azugaba fashion brand by Anna Rotella and dresses "Dolce Vita" brand by Laura Roggi, curated by Virginia Barrett, with the models from fashion school of Gloria Salipante. Collaboration with local associations were held with Circuito Storico Santa Marinella by Daniele Padelletti for the exhibition of vintage cars from "La Dolce Vita" Trophy. An interesting workshop on film tourism of our territory was curated by Francesco Capuano.

And finally, a special mention is given to the students and teachers of institutes from all over Italy, who took part at Constitution Lesson video contest, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Italian Constitution helping to keep alive the rules that guarantee democracy in our country.
