Can twenty-four hours be enough to upset a life to put everything at risk? Is it possible that this happens to a woman who thinks she has nothing left to wait, whose life is a golden drift?

The story is set in Montecarlo, during'50s. Claire, a young widow, notice at gambling hall frantic and desperate hands of a boy, pointing everything, losing all at roulette. That night she saves him from suicide; the next day she tries to convince him to leave and to give up to the game but in spite of himself falls in love with him. Because it sometimes happens to love someone we know will take away everything: intelligence, spirit and courage. But now she is playing everything, risking a noble and compassionate life for that sudden fever.

The portrait of a woman at that moment of life where nothing seems most desperately desirable of imprudence.

ROSARIO TRONNOLONE

Editor of the cultural program of the Vatican Radio "Orizzonti Cristiani". Also edits a weekly editorial program, a magazine about cultural activities and cinema themed radio program "Effetto Cinema", as well as radio-reduction of novels and theatre plays. In the centenary of Ingrid Bergman's birth (1915-2015) he collaborated with director Stig Bjorkman on development of documentary "Ingrid Bergman in Her Own Words" which was presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and also served as curator of photographic exhibitions "The 62 faces of an actress" and "Ingrid Bergman : Jag ar en Flyttfagel (I'm a bird migrator)", presented at the Casa del Cinema in Rome, at Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm and at Swedish Embassy in Rome. His most recent activity is direction of Stefan Zweig's "Twenty-Four Hours in the Life of a Woman" (2017).
