Born in Lisbon, Portugal, her origins come from the island of São Tomé and Principe, a former Portuguese colony in Africa. Maria has lived in Italy for more than 20 years. She studied Foreign Languages and Literatures at the Sapienza University of Rome and obtained a Masters in Interpreting at the School for Translators and Interpreters in Pescara.

 

Actress passionate about writing, she writes multicultural subjects for short and feature films. She studied acting in different cities such as Los Angeles, London, Lisbon and Rome, where he lives. She speaks 5 languages (Italian, Portuguese, English, French and Spanish) and acts in 3 (Italian, Portuguese and English). In February 2020 she founded the Bianco Nero a Colori Cultural Association, where she is President and again in February she conceived and founded the bimonthly magazine W All Women Magazine, a magazine for everyone, made by women. A cultural meeting point, where inclusion and multiculturalism present in Italy today are a priority. Maria is also a part-time flight attendant
