Ingmar Bergman and his legacy in fashion and art - Exhibition from October 3 to 7
The Embassy of Sweden in Rome and International Tour Film Festival proudly presents Ingmar Bergman and his legacy in fashion and art.
The exhibition Ingmar Bergman and his legacy in fashion and art introduces Ingmar Bergman and four of his major films: The Seventh Seal, Persona, Scenes from a Marriage, and Fanny and Alexander. The exhibition has its emphasis on the influence that Bergman – as an iconic film maker and reluctant trend setter – has on today’s fashion and art. Bergman was himself uninterested in fashion, and dressed in a simple, static style throughout his life. Today Bergman’s stylistic iconicity is made trendy in Swedish fashion.
This exhibition was made with the support of Svenska Institutet. Introduced in Rome at La Casa Del Cinema, it took place in several countries around the world like China, Romania and USA with acclaimed success and finally will take place in Civitavecchia at International Tour Film Festival from October 3 to 7, in the beautiful and historical location La Cittadella della Musica. As strongly wished by the entire organization of the International Tour Film Festival, this prestigious initiative in homage to one of the most important filmmaker in the cinema history was made possible thanks to the Embassy of Sweden. The opening of the exhibition is scheduled October 3 under presence of a delegation of Embassy, local authorities and honour guests. Free admission.
